Never a dull moment

 

 

Look what we found inside our house today!

I don't blame this little baby for wanting to come indoors and get out of the freezing.

 

Our two year old actually found it earlier today. He came out of playing in our play tent in our living room complaining that a lizard had pinched him. I thought he was talking about one of the kids toys and completely moved onto something else. After dinner once again our two year old yelled that the lizard was out and he didn't like it. I came over to find this sweet little creature on the ground. Still questioning if this was a toy or not...it looked fake..i covered it with a cake stand bell and waited for it to move. It did! Guess I'll be taking my two year old a little more seriously from now on.

 

 

With this weather being so cold we prepared our tank for it to stay till the weather warms up. We have a family of these alligator lizards that live under the rocks just outside our front door so I'm assuming when we have left the door open while letting the puppy out this little guy ran in for warmth. We used the rocks outside just like the ones he lives in and placed them next to the fire to thaw and warm up. Once the tank had warmed up enough and we added some drinking water we set the little guy into it and he quickly made himself at home.

 

We will put in some bugs tomorrow for him to eat and keep you posted.
